Smart, Commercial Grade 4-step Battery Charging
The first fully automatic, constant-current battery charger designed to charge and/or maintain up to 10 12-volt batteries simultaneously at 2 amps, the Battery Tender 12-volt/2-amp 10-Bank Battery Management System utilizes a 4-step charging program (initialization, bulk charge, absorption mode and float mode), that allows users to connect the charger to up to 10 batteries, either in or out of a vehicle, with the confidence that all are being maintained at optimal performance levels. This makes it extremely useful for battery rotation, where a battery is removed from service during repair or in preparing batteries for sale. It is also safe for your batteries, with the built-in ability to automatically switch its output voltage to a storage or float level that eliminates the need to worry about the damaging effects of overcharging, and the resulting need to check on the condition of a charging battery. If or when the battery voltage drops too far under load, this same smart technology resumes output power and the charging cycle begins again. The unit also features sparkproof connectors, reverse polarity protection, a 72-hour safety timer that ensures batteries attain float mode status during charging, an easy to understand charging status LED indicator for each charging bank, durable construction and almost no current draw from batteries connected to it.

*Note: All Deltran battery chargers will charge all types of lead acid batteries: either flooded (standard STD), sealed maintenance free Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM), or sealed maintenance free gelled electrolyte (GEL) batteries. However, for optimum battery performance in deep cycle applications (for example, running a trolling motor), it is best to chose the Deltran charger that has the charging software specifically designed for the battery type. Fortunately, since the technical staff at Deltran has developed charging software that works equally well for both STD & AGM batteries, the only choice to be made is between 2 models: either STD & AGM or GEL software.

BatteryMINDer Charger/Maintainer/Desulfator - 1.3 Amp, 12 Volt, Model# 12117 Feature

Full-time battery monitoring automatically tests battery every microsecond, supplying only the current needed to maintain battery at full charge
Maintain up to four 12 Volt standard, starting batteries (of similar type - in parallel). Amperage is divided evenly among connected batteries. (NOT recommended for deep cycle batteries)
Does not overcharge, regardless of time connected
High-frequency pulses safely remove sulphate from battery's plates that prevent the batteries from holding a full charge
Adding water references Wet typed batteries. If the water level isn't sufficiently maintained, charging the battery runs the risk of overheating and cooking the battery. The charger applies current to the battery and this can cause the water to boil and evaporate.

The BatteryMINDER Plus is a 3-mode maintenance charger/desulfator that extends performance and life of all types and sizes of 12 Volt lead acid batteries, including all starter, deep cycle, maintenance-free, sealed AGM, gelled or dry-type batteries, regardless of size or make. The Model 12117 automatically dissolves harmful power-robbing sulfation using safe, low voltage, patented high-frequency pulse technology. UL listed.
